The new BMW X5 unveiled

The ceremony was very simple but it took place at an alluring venue. The product to be launched at the event was even more special the new BMW X5.
After a brief introductory speech, BMW Indonesia president director Ramesh Divyanathan, with the help of corporate communication director Helena Abidin, unveiled a brand-new white BMW X5 to waiting journalists.
The new BMW X5 comes in three models, BMW X5 xDriveSOi, X5 xDrive35i Executive and X5 xDrive30d, all of which are now available at BMW authorized dealerships.
"The X5 is the world leader in premium sport activity vehicles, it is the leader in Indonesia as well," said Ramesh as he stood alongside the X5 in the lobby of the Alila Hotel in Uluwatu, Bali.
According to Ramesh, a total of 879 units of the BMW X5 have been delivered since its introduction.
The new BMW X5 comes with certain modifications to accentuate its sporting elements, including an eight-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and a new engine. It also has larger side air intakes in the front, and the rear bumper and tailpipe were reshaped. The corona rings in the new BMW X5 come with LED daytime running lights, so the car is easily recognizable.
The BMW xDrive50i has a V8 4.4-liter engine featuring BMW TwinPowerTurbo and high precision injection, which is capable of producing 407 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 600 nanometers at 1,750 rpm. It can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.5 seconds, and the average fuel consumption is 12.5 liters per 100 kilometers (1 liter for 8 kilometers).
The xDrive35i Executive is the second version, with a smaller engine capacity its average fuel consumption is 10.1 liters per 100 kilometers.
Meanwhile, the xDrive30d features a three liter straight six-cylinder engine with all-aluminum construction and the latest common rail direction technology, plus a turbocharger. This diesel-fueled variant consumes 7.4 liters per 100 kilometers on average.
Not only does the new BMW X5 offer a high-powered engine, it is also equipped with a HiFi audio system with a choice of either 12 or 16 loud-speakers and 205W or 600W amplifier power and an on-board monitor with a TV and 8-inch color display. Passengers in the rear seats can also enjoy the entertainment system, which includes a DVD player, an 8-inch foldable monitor and a USB interface.
