Nissan Leaf NISMO RC

The NISMO will come with a lithium battery pack and badging from a stock Leaf. The lithium battery pack has been relocated at the middle of the vehicle for better weight distribution. The total weight of this NISMO RC is about 2068 pounds and is 40 percent lighter than the production Leaf. This racing Leaf is a foot shorter and 6.7 inches wider, and with a scant 2.4 inches of ground clearance.
Nissan will soon unveil the racing variant electric vehicle to the world car market named as Nissan Leaf NISMO RC in the coming New York Auto Show. 
Nissan implied well LED lighting system with driver adjustable rear wings. When the Leaf NISMO RC is in motion, its 80kW AC motor generates 107 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Nissan also says this Leaf is only for demonstrate purpose and don't expect that this model would be complete any time soon. It can go upto 0-60 mph in 6.85 seconds and it shows a top speed of 93 mph. Next up for the NISMO Leaf is a series of planned appearances at various motorsports venues in 2011. Nissan also said that it is somewhat serious about a zero-emission racing series.
