Toyota iQ Concept EV (GENEVA)

Toyota presented in the 2011 Geneva Motor Show to your first 100% electric production, the iQ Concept EV . A model that has very little prototype that the company will launch later this year or early in 2012 en Europe . There are several units that are being tested in Japan, USA and Europe .

The self-synchronous electric motor of 47 kW is 105 km. The battery is Lithium-Ion of 270 V and 11 kWh, and is located under the seats. The maximum speed is 125 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 14 seconds.

The lithium-ion battery is developed by Tesla , and is part of the agreement that the Japanese firm has with the U.S. (the other model was jointly developed the Rav4 EV ).

The battery recharges fully in 4 hours, from a 200 V outlet, or it can be recharged to 80% in 15 minutes, from a conventional plug.
