Lincoln MKZ

2011 Lincoln MKZ is an entry level luxury sedan available with only one trim level. Some of the standard equipments included are fog lamps, 17 inch wheels, full power accessories, cruise control, keyless entry with entry pad, dual zone automatic climate control, tilt and telescopic steering column, ventilated and heated eight way power adjustable front seat with memory function, auto dimming rear view mirrors, leather upholstery, sync with Bluetooth, voice controlled navigation assistance, 911 assist and I-Pod connectivity, audio system with nine speakers, AUX-IN pin, satellite radio and six CD chargers.

Other than these features this sedan is also offered with some high tech features which include navigation package, spot appearance package, Executive package and Ultimate package. Navigation package include blind spot warning system, rear view camera and voice operated navigation system which includes single DVD/CD players, HD radio, Touch screen interface, Sirius travel link, 10 GB of digital music storage and optional THX certified premium sound system. Ultimate package includes adaptive xenon headlights, ambient interior lighting, sun roof, 17 inch chrome clad wheels, rain sensing wipers and some features from navigation package. Spot appearance package includes sports tuned suspension, aluminum interior trim, 18 inch polished alloy wheels, and unique dark shaded exterior trim. Executive package includes upgraded interior trim and leather upholstery.

Engine and Performance:

2011 Lincoln MKZ is armored with 3.5 L capacity V6 engine which will be incorporated with six speed automatic gear transmission but includes manual shift control. This sedan is offered with standard front wheel drive and optional all wheel drive. Engine of this sedan is capable of accelerating from zero to 60 MPH in just 7.2 seconds and offers comparative mileage.MKZ is a mid sized entry level sedan from Lincoln division of Fort Motor Company. This model was initially named as Lincoln Zephyr. The Zephyr received its name at the end of 2005. This sedan shares its platform with Mercury Milan and Ford Fusion. This sedan was entirely based on CD3 platform which was shared with Mazda 6. This 2011 model Lincoln MKZ was revealed at 2008 Los Angeles International Auto Show. This new Lincoln model faces some serious competition from other luxury sedans like Audi A4, Cadillac CTS, Infinity G37, Hyundai Genesis, Mercedes Benz C Class, Lexus ES 350 and BMW 3 Series.
